Наушники из среднего ценового диапазона, если говорить о марке Brainwavz. Потребительские характеристики: плоский Y-кабель, разъем угловой (но до 90 градусов далеко), чехол и 9 пар насадок (много обычных и пара из пены), адаптер для использования в самолете.

Обзоров много, сходятся по нескольким параметрам: много баса, звук лучше, чем у M4 и M5, хорошее качество изготовления, носить удобно. Кстати, задуманы они для ношения over the ear, кабель заводится за уши — подходят для похода в тренажерный зал. Не требуют усилителя.

The sound is, like the design, big and bold. Rich, full, and with some good weight to the overall sound. A fairly large stage but quite forward overall presentation. A very slight U shape which is minimized since the whole sound is in your face. So, vocals are right there up close even if ever so slightly back in the mix. jant71@head-fi

The S1 was a big surprise to me. I have a number of infinitely more expensive, stylish and technically better sounding earphones however, the Brainwavz S1 have stole a place in my heart.  They are, by all regards, the best set of gym phones that I have ever owned.  The ones I have been looking for for so long.  Incredibly comfortable and well built with a sound signature that wont fail to get anyone bouncing about and motivated by their music. For the price these will be, I can recommend them, much better than the M5 which i found to be a little bright and not very well built. These have a smooth sound and solid build, which makes them great for working out or just relaxing, the sound is very consumer friendly so they will appeal to a larger group of people without sacrificing the finer details us audio lovers enjoy. ostewart@head-fi

Overall, for $60, I think this can appeal to a lot of people.  The S1 is a well balanced IEM fit for people that like to listen to many different genres. The sound is fun with the bass and it just works for any type of music I tried. The pulled back and less 'clear' vocals make some songs easy to listen to if they are of bad quality or if they are very harsh rock songs, while the upper mid sparkle helps bring instruments out(depending on song, this could be a bit too much, but genreally is not).

As an overal package, I am impressed now that I have had time to get accustomed to the comply tips and that the upper mid spike has settled.  bowei006@head-fi

Обозреватели ориентировались на розничную цену, со скидкой покупка S1 выглядит еще привлекательнее, поскольку дешевле из внутриканальных «затычек» Brainvawz сейчас только гораздо более простые Beta и Delta, М-серия (M1, M4, M5) уже дороже. Доставка у MP4Nation бесплатная, не особо быстрая, по мому опыту — Почта, тут как повезет.
